A pack of Siberian Huskies, integrated into the daily life of state-certified ski and mountain guide Hubs Lindner.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The huskies run exclusively inline<\/strong> \u2013 i.e., not in pairs \u2013 as is common in traditional sledding. This is simply because there are no wide tracks in steep alpine terrain, only the trail pre-groomed by skis. <\/span><\/p>\n

Accordingly, we have developed a special setting \u2013 consisting of kennel housing, feeding, alpine leashes, downhills in formation, ascent and pulling behavior in switchbacks, etc. \u2013 and manifest this in our routine: around 120 skitours per winter and around 200 alpine trails per year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
